What hometown are you repping?
My life is split between Toronto and Mississauga so for me I’m repping both cities.
What are some of your influences?
I’m gonna have to say I have female influences and male influences. Females are Aaliyah, Missy Elliot, Mya, Tlc, and Lauryn Hill. Males are, Busta Rhymes, Usher, Twista, Chris Brown, and Timbaland.
What has been your biggest accomplishment as an artist so far?
I think my biggest accomplishment as an artist was when I heard my song on the radio for the first time. It felt like all that work had finally been for something.
What are some of the accomplishments you are aiming for in the near future?
I am aiming incredibly far. I intend to be a household name. I’m going international. The plan is worldwide.
Tell us about your most recent release. What is it about? What is the message you are conveying through your music?
My most recent release is Say Your Name. I write what I know and what I know is we all have that ex whose name we don’t mention. The one that did us so dirty that it changes us. Say Your Name tells that story. A version of that story. With mine, it’s okay to take back the power.
How long have you been in the game?
I had been writing some years before but my first track was a feature. That was 2015. So 6 years officially.
What’s your message to your fans?
Keep going!! What ever your doing might not be for everyone but it’ll be for someone. It’s those someone’s that matter.
