TGAR Channels Pain Into Purpose on Transformative New Single “Fear”

WESTERN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Rising from the gritty backdrop of Werrington, Western Sydney, artist TGAR(an acronym for To Grow and Remember) brings raw authenticity and emotional depth to his latest release, “Fear”—a powerful track that dives into life’s darkest corners and emerges with clarity, courage, and catharsis.

Born Hayden Robertson, TGAR has always used music as his silent outlet. Growing up with a chaotic home life and frequent instability, he experienced the harsh realities of street culture and survival from a young age. Through it all, songwriting became his sanctuary—a way to document pain, seek healing, and make sense of his world.

“Music started as a promise,” says TGAR. “I wrote a song for someone who meant a lot to me. I told them if I ever took this seriously, that song would be my first release. They’re not in my life anymore, but the promise stayed—and it became the fuel to keep going.”

Now 23, TGAR has matured into an artist who fuses emotional storytelling with a bold, modern sound influenced by acts like Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, and YNG Martyr. His newest release, “Fear,” is an unfiltered look at the internal struggle we face when paralyzed by uncertainty—but it’s also a declaration of growth. It’s about turning fear into fuel, and finding power in your past.

“‘Fear’ is a mindset shift,” he explains. “It’s me saying: I’m no longer running from the things that haunt me. I’m using them to build something stronger.”

With introspective lyrics layered over gritty production, “Fear” is more than just a song—it’s a journey of survival, transformation, and truth. TGAR’s storytelling cuts through the noise, connecting with listeners who’ve experienced real struggle and are searching for something deeper in the music.
