RoadRunna Bizzy Emerges From Struggle to Stardom With Raw & Relentless Storytelling in Hip-Hop

Rising hip-hop artist RoadRunna Bizzy (born Dayquan Katembue) is quickly carving his lane in the rap game, blending pain, truth, and trap into what he calls “feel me music.” His journey from federal incarceration to relentless studio sessions is proof that resilience and hunger can turn pain into power.

Bizzy’s story begins in Raleigh, North Carolina, where music was always in the background of family life. Though he started out freestyling for fun, life’s turbulence pulled him in other directions. After surviving street violence, personal losses, and eventually incarceration, Bizzy found clarity: music wasn’t just a pastime, it was his purpose.

Even behind bars, he never let go of his passion. With nothing more than a contraband cell phone, Bizzy recorded his breakout track “One Foot Out” on BandLab—an early sign of his unstoppable drive. “Music became therapy for me. Even locked up, people felt my energy. That’s when I knew I had to take this seriously,” he says.

Since returning home in late 2024, Bizzy has wasted no time proving his dedication. On home confinement, he recorded daily, releasing the heartfelt single “Tears on My Prayer Rug”, his EP Rip’n Bandaids, and the mixtape One Foot Out.Each project captures chapters of his life while showcasing his ability to transform struggle into soundtracks of survival and ambition.

Inspired by hip-hop heavyweights like Future, Lil Baby, and Lil Durk, RoadRunna Bizzy’s music dives deep into the realities of pain, hustling, and redemption. His style is raw, unfiltered, and designed to make listeners feel every lyric.

“My music is for anyone who’s ever been counted out,” Bizzy shares. “I want people to hear my story and know that no matter what you’ve been through, you can rise and create something real.”

With new music on the way and an unwavering work ethic, RoadRunna Bizzy is ready to take his story from Raleigh to the world stage.
