After being forced out of his home in New York, Josh relocated to Florida to attend Full Sail University, only to face another major setback after returning home due to the passing of his brother. His time at the university came to an abrupt end, marking another turning point in a life already shaped by loss and hardship. Experiencing grief at a young age forced him to mature quickly, yet through it all, Josh has remained open to growth—learning from every setback rather than being defined by it.

While music had always been present in his life, it wasn’t until about five years ago that Josh Dent began taking his craft seriously. What started as casual experimentation has since evolved into a focused pursuit—one driven by intention, emotion, and authenticity.
