DRAKE IS PLANNING TO RETIRE FROM RAP

Canadian hip-hop artist Drake has been at the top of the rap game for years. The rapper has arisen as one of the world’s greatest pop stars. Moreover, he has won numerous awards throughout his legendary career, including the prestigious Grammy Award.


But, as they say, every good story comes to an end. In a current interview with rapper Lil Yachty, Drake indicated his possible retirement from rap.


The rap pioneer tweeted a video of him with Lil Yachty where he was talking about what the future carries for him as a rapper. In the candid video, he said, “I think I’m at the point now where I just want to like — I think we talked about this the other day — but I feel like I’m kind of introducing the concept, in my mind, of a graceful exit?”

Most likely, Drake is planning to end his long career shortly.



Drake’s surprising comment leaves his fans in splits. While it looks like the industry is not ready to bid goodbye to one of the best current rappers.


Despite his young age, Drake has already had a long and successful career. Start from the age of 15 as an actor.

He released his first mixtape in 2006 while he was 20 years old. In the next 17 years, he’s done everything a good rapper can do, he clamped the hill of hip hop. As of 2022, he’s the highest-certified digital tracks artist of all time in the united states while his 2018 single ‘God's Plan’ went 11 times platinum.



Drake also has multiple Billboard Hot 100 chart records and in 2021, he made it as the second artist ever to settle the entire Hot 100's top five in a single week.
