2PLBYSSS Are Making Music That Feels Like a Movie Scene

Newcomers to Watch with a Debut EP and More on the Way

Some artists just feel different. 2PLBYSSS—an emerging duo with big plans—are doing more than just putting out music. They’re building moments. Their upcoming debut EP is shaped by real life, but the kind of life that sticks with you—the highs, the lows, and those surreal in-between scenes that play like a movie in your head. That’s their sweet spot.

“We’re inspired by everyday life, but especially those moments that feel like a movie,” they explain. That kind of honesty is at the core of everything they do. Their creative process? It’s raw. It’s real. “These days most songs are pure first thoughts written down.” It’s not overthought or over-polished—it’s about capturing a vibe while it’s fresh.

They’re also working with some serious names behind the boards. From TT Audi, who’s produced for Kanye West, to SWVSH, who went diamond with Lil Uzi Vert, the team they’ve assembled is nothing short of impressive. It’s clear they’re not here to play around.

Their musical roots go deep. Growing up on artists like Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Drake, and Travis Scott, their influences come from that golden stretch of modern hip-hop—the stuff that defined a generation. But it’s not just about who they listened to. Both artists come from musical families, so the rhythm and soul run naturally in their blood.

More than anything, they want listeners to feel something. Their goal is to make music that captures a specific moment in time—songs that hit hard now and still make sense years later. “We want to create real moments for people to hold onto,” they say. And they’re well on their way.

Their latest single, JUICE, features Jay Trillionz from Dallas and CMB Swank from New York. It’s already out on all platforms and building steady momentum. With another single set to drop in June and a full project coming this year, 2PLBYSSS are heating up fast.
