2 Degrees: The Coldest Rapper in the South

Hailing from Phenix City, Alabama, 28-year-old rapper 2 Degrees (Jonathan Curry) is rapidly carving out his space in the Southern hip-hop scene. Driven by a relentless passion for freedom and independence, 2 Degrees is the embodiment of a self-made artist, navigating the music industry on his terms. "I’m my own boss. I make my own moves," he proudly declares.

With his eyes set on becoming financially free and recognized as the "Coldest Rapper in the South," 2 Degrees has already laid a solid foundation. In December 2022, he dropped the "Too Cold" EP, a project that introduced his icy flow and sharp lyricism to the world. The EP's success was undeniable, with the hit single "Shawty" amassing over 500K streams on YouTube, all through organic growth. This milestone not only established a growing fanbase but also earned him genuine recognition in Atlanta, a city known for its thriving hip-hop culture.

Building on that momentum, 2 Degrees released his follow-up EP, "COLDER," in December 2023. The project has already started making waves, particularly with the single "Motion," which has caught the attention of industry executives. His music's infectious energy has found a place in clubs and radio stations, making it perfect for both nightlife and fitness routines.

With an ever-growing presence and an unyielding drive, 2 Degrees is on track to take his career to new heights. As he continues to push boundaries and define his path, one thing is clear: the future is cold, and 2 Degrees is the one bringing the chill.
