Kush Baby 500 - Drippin’

What hometown are you repping?

Toronto, mostly I grew up around the west-end on the lakeshore. This is why you’ll notice I got a lot of photos around the lake, I feel close to home on the water.

What are some of your artist influences?

Beyond the stars who influenced me some of the most impactful relationships I had have been with my friends and family. Growing up around artists I noticed that we had shared qualities that are within successful artist, this really gave me the confidence and inspiration to step up.

What has been your biggest accomplishment as an artist so far?

2020 has been a real eye opener for me. I started the year with a heavy catalogue of music and a goal of opening an entertainment label and getting my art to the people. Fast forward 6 months and ABN 500 ENT is flourishing and I have two singles launched. The reality of the situations is that this experience has humbled and empowered me with all the work and commitment I have had these past few months. Regardless of the sacrifices I don’t regret a single moment because I have control of my career and my dreams.

What are some of the accomplishments you’re aiming for in the near future?

COVID has turned made everything crazy and what I am really looking forward to doing is collaborating more with Toronto artists and diving deeper into the industry. Thankfully we got social media but nothing beats really getting out there. ABN 500 ENT is also getting ready for some nice movies in the near future , but I’m just gonna keep that under wraps for now. With that being said my line is always open holla at ya boy for collaborations!

Tell us about your most recent release. What is it about? What is the message you’re conveying through your music?

With “Look At Me Now” behind me “Drippin” is making good on my promise to continually bless fans with my music. I feel the song also really gives a good look into how my style can evolve but still ya get that clean sound that my fans are used to hearing. This one is most definitely for the money makers out there.

How long have you been in the game?

I was born into this! My family are a huge influence in my life and because of that I have never not been exposed to music. Double that with most of my peers being musicians too and I’m a product of my musical environment.

My first project was released in 2012 but I really had a lot to learn about how to make music and how to navigate the industry. The years after were really the heaviest learning time for my career as I exposed myself to the elements I felt would push my career to the next level. I would say that by 2018 I had really gotten a strong grasp of how to make good music and began the plans for my future.

What’s your message to your fans?

Never give up on your dreams. Stay strong and don’t allow anything to get in your way.

And on a real wave I appreciate you guys so much for the support, positive messages, and those spins. Ya really make a guy feel ways !
