JAY-Z & Beyoncé Album Reportedly In The Process For 'Renaissance' Trilogy

Beyoncé’s Renaissance trilogy will reportedly have another collaborative album with the rapper JAY-Z.

According to The New York Times pop culture journalist Kyle Buchanan, Queen Bey is preparing a full-length cooperation with her husband the Hip Hop icon Jay Z for the third and last installment of her Renaissance series.

He also shared some insight into the second act, asserting it will be a completely acoustic project.

Before Renaissance’s eagerly-anticipated arrival on July 29, Beyoncé announced the album was the first set of a three-part series.

“This trilogy project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative,” she penned on her website. “Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world.

“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, and feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”

While Beyoncé has yet to affirm the news about releasing her Renaissance trilogy, the new album wouldn’t be the first she did with her husband JAY-Z. In June 2018, Mr. and Mrs. Carter bound skills and efforts for Everything Is Love, which was dropped by surprise during the couple's Tour ''On the Run II''.
